Favorite Bible verse: "For surely I know
the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans for your
welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with
hope. Then when you call upon me and come and pray to
me, I will hear you. When you search for me, you will
find me; if you seek me with all your heart, I will
I will let you find me, says the Lord." Jeremiah
29:11-14a

A Message from Pastor Collette: Pastor Collette
believes strongly in the power of relationships. It
is our relationships with Christ, our families &
friends, and other Christians that gives us strength
for service to forward God’s Kingdom.
"I learned the hard way that being healthy in
ALL aspects of life is vital in any area of ministry.
It is important for all of us to take time to be healthy
in order to have shalom - wholeness - in our lives.
Relationships form the foundation for our living a life
of shalom; this is the life that God gifted us through
Christ. I am very excited to have the opportunity to
build on that foundation with everyone here at Good
Samaritan Lutheran Church."
In the Letter to the Ephesians, we hear how God through
Christ has a plan for our health and salvation, that
we are adopted as children of God, and that we are given
the greatest gift of all - salvation by grace through
faith. Living a healthy life - a life of shalom - is
part of that gift. "For once you were darkness,
but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children
of light - for the fruit of the light is found in all
that is good and right and true." Ephesians 5:8-9
"It is my prayer that everyone can live a healthy,
whole life in the Light of Christ. May the peace that
passes all understanding be with you all!"
